My initial order was not complete - I contacted customer service and they corrected the issue immediately. I was able to use Salty Britches Ointment on a 5k where I typically have issues with blisters - not this time ! great product and I recommend this to anyone that has blistering or areas of chaffing on longer runs/rides whether it is on the trails or pavement.
I have been using Salty Britches for ultramarathons for over a year. For most races, I simply apply before the race and forget about it. On especially hot and humid days or on days when it is raining, I may need to apply a second or third time. The only minor complaint is that it leaves an odor on some tech clothing, presumably because it doesn't wash out completely when doing laundry.
I used this for the IRONMAN World Championships in Kona. I didn't have a single issue with my swim skin leaving marks. Then I used it before the bike and again on my feet for the run.

No blisters after 100 miles
Great fit and love representing Salty Britches in my ultra running as they make a great product.
I found salty britches on-line last year during training for a half marathon during the winter. My only problem was blisters forming between nearly every toe. I tried glide, Vaseline, all sorts of blister bandages and Salty Britches solved my problem. Now I’m training for number 2 and my pre run routine is to liberally apply it between my toes! It really works folks!
I'm a long-distance athlete who has had difficulty with blisters and hot spots on my feet. I used to use a combination of tape and a barrier lotion to prevent blisters but it never worked. Salty Britches does!
